Ruby Sanctum :
So from what we saw and learned painfully along the way, were a few things. First off, there are different packs of trash, some with only 3 mobs, some with more. The groups with only 3 mobs, just kill the casters first. In the larger groups, they have commanders, these needs to die first, AND you need to split up your group a bit. You want interrupters on the casters, while other dps stays on the commander, and you want your MT and OT to split up with an even amount of mobs, at least 10 yards apart.
The reason for this is the commander will put a buff on any mobs near him, that increases their damage depending on how many other allies it has near it. The casters are both interruptable AND stunnable.
There are 3 mini bosses just like in Obsidian Sanctum, Saviana Ragefire (Shes to the right when you enter), Baltharus the Warborn (to the left when you enter), General Zarithrian (straight ahead when entering).
Saviana So theres a few special things about this one. First off, you can stand behind her, no tail swipes. Second, she does some random aoe that we learned very quickly, can hurt, so try to have fire resistance aura of some form. She does have a frontal cone so don't get in front of her. She has an enrage that should be tranq'd off as well.
She will fly up into the air and conflagerate 2 people. These people NEED to get away from others, you will become disoriented and do aoe damage. Now, the tank CAN get disoriented, as we learned in only using one tank, so it's probably best to have a second one on standby.
Baltharus First off, he has frontal attacks, don't get in front of him. Theres a big tree behind him actually that the tank can turn him towards, seeing as he has a knock back too. At 75%, 50%, and 25% he will spawn a mirror image, make sure to mark the boss before you pull so you know that the unmarked ones are the mirror images. Have the tank with the highest HP picking them up, all dps stay on the boss.
He also has a stacking debuff he can put on the tank that decreases healing taken which will get bad very fast, just have any cooldowns that increase avoidance chance handy and it should be fine.
Ranged, spread out a bit too.
Zarithrian The only somewhat tricky part about this guy is a stacking debuff on the tank, each stack reduces armor by 20%, so tanks want to switch off at 3 stacks. Everyone else wants to cluster in one group behind the boss, because 2 adds will also spawn. They don't have a lot of hp, just have dps switch to it. Also, he does a mass disorient. Do NOT use fearward on yourself, do not use every man for himself, unless you are the tank. If you break the disorient and are not a tank, he will turn and attack you.
Halion
This is the big guy, who will give several problems. Im not sure if DBM is updated to it yet, but it was not for us so we had to guess a lot. If it is updated, it will make a couple of things much easier.
There are 3 phases.
PHASE 1: This is called the physical realm, there are a few special things. First off, there is a dispellable / decursable debuff that people will get. If you dispel it in this phase near others, it will do a massive knockback, so whoever gets it has to run away and get it dispelled. It will put down a circle, and people need to step out of it. The longer the debuff stays on the person, the larger the circle will be, so please react quickly.
Second, there will be an area on the ground that looks like its smoldering, this is where a large fireball is about to drop, and put out an X of fire, stay out of it. As usual, this is a dragon, frontal cone, and tail stun, so stay at its sides.
Phase 2: This phase starts when he hits 75%. A portal will open on top of Halion, and he will become inactive in the physical realm. Let the OT go through first to avoid getting killed. Everyone goes through, this phase is a bit tricky. There are two circling spheres that are 180 degrees apart, and will be circling around the whole time. Every 30 seconds or so, there will be a chat warning, and you have about 2 seconds to react before a dark beam will link between the two spheres, so make sure you're not in the path! It will kill you immediately.
Second, there is the exact same type of dispellable debuff on people, the only difference in the shadow phase is, is that it will pull people in if they're too close, instead of having a knock back. After the first beam, if everyone survives, use heroism if its available, and get through that one ASAP. Again, tail swipes and front cone, its a little tricker to not get hit by either with all the movement, but try your best.
Phase 3:
This starts at the 50% mark, and your raid will split up. The strongest single target healer, 2 casters, and the physical realm tank need to hop back through the portal. So the raid will be split 4/6. This is the trickiest part. There will be something at the top of your screen that says "Corporeality".
This can be highly confusing. Lets say for example, you are in the physical realm, and corporeality is at 60%, then it will say 40% in the shadow realm.
What this means is, whoever is leading, depending on their realm, will need to call out for shadow realm, or physical realm to stop on dps.
Lets say for example, the leader is in the physical realm, and corporeality hits 60% for them, the leader will call for a stop on dps in the shadow realm. Its HIGHLY important people stop quickly. If it goes any further then the 60% mark, the boss will heal and become much stronger in one of the realms.
This is NOT a dps race, it is a shared health pool. Just have to remember, depending on your phase, the various abilities. Also, dps can hop through the portals through out all of phase 3, so if 1 or 2 dps die in one phase, and you need to have people go to the other phase, just call it.
Also, for you tanks. On phase 3, if you go back through the portal on that phase, You will see the 2 portals up across from eachother. FACE THE BOSS TOWARDS ONE OF THESE PORTALS. This is very important, so that if anyone has to come through to your phase, they wont get tail swiped or breathed on.. as a certain rogue learned the hard way!
